Discovering the best version of themselves.
For young people growing up in poverty, obtaining secondary or tertiary education often feels out of reach, not just financially, but emotionally and mentally. Many carry the daily weight of family responsibilities, financial strain, and social expectations. In Nicaragua, these challenges are a reality for most of our students.

Why is this support a game-changer? Because our students are superheroes battling economic hardship and social hurdles. They've grown up in homes where diplomas are rare, paychecks are unpredictable, and families are a complex jigsaw puzzle. Some even study on Saturdays or late at night, juggling school and home duties.
For many, making it to university is like winning a gold medal, but staying there can feel like climbing Mount Everest. They're often haunted by a persistent voice whispering, "You're not good enough," convinced that no matter how hard they pedal, life's roadblocks will slow them down.
These workshops help students shift from seeing themselves as victims to recognizing their strengths and potential. As they gain self-awareness and confidence, they begin to make empowered choices—changing academic paths, pursuing passions over pressure, and managing their emotional well-being with greater resilience and purpose.

Amanda, a first-year accounting student and long-time participant, shares:
"The support I’ve received has made a big difference in my life, both personally and academically. The workshops help us focus on what really matters—our dreams and our purpose. I’ve learned not to let fear hold me back. Dreaming big is a valid, powerful choice.”
