Energy to learn!

Healthy eating is essential to ensure our students' physical and mental well-being. A balanced diet, including proteins, fruits, vegetables, grains, cereals, and dairy products, is crucial for maintaining good health, preventing disease, and improving learning. This nutritional balance helps limit the consumption of calories from added sugars, saturated fats, and excess salt, contributing to a better quality of life.

At EI, we work with children and adolescents from families with limited economic resources, who often face difficulty accessing adequate food. That is why, since 2019, we have implemented a school snack program for students who cannot access three meals a day at home.

This program provides adequate nutrition, ensuring that the kids can perform better academically and enjoy overall well-being. The school snack program at EI is generously supported by the Convoy of Hope Foundation, which donates three times a year. These donations ensure our students receive a healthy and highly nutritious school snack. By providing healthy, balanced meals during the school day, we meet basic nutritional needs and promote concentration, attention, and learning in the classroom.

A balanced snack provides our students with the nutrients they need to stay alert and actively participate in educational activities. Each day, our students look forward to their school snack, which encourages healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime. This program not only nourishes their bodies but also nourishes their minds, promoting a healthier and more prosperous future for all.
