ABOUT OUR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
When you sponsor a child with Empowerment International, it becomes a truly personal experience. It's about building a meaningful relationship, and you will be part of that too. Three times a year, you'll hear heartfelt updates from your child, and you're always welcome to write back—your words really bring joy to them! If you happen to be in Nicaragua, you're even invited to meet them in person. Sponsoring a child helps ensure they have a spot in our program, getting essential school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and tuition (for older students, if applicable). They also receive emotional and physical healthcare when needed, after-school tutoring, a school snack, home visits, and access to all our clubs—reading, computers, dance, photography, soccer, art, and biking. These children become a cherished part of the EI family, feeling a warm sense of being at a second home with us. As long as they meet our program requirements, they will stay with us throughout their entire educational journey. It's inspiring to see kids start young in our program, and then graduate from high school or even go on to university—an incredible growth story every time.

Melvin is a young but very dreamy boy; he said he dreamed of being at school to be a professional. He enjoys being in school. He likes to play frisbee with his classmates. He has a chicken as a pet, his favorite color is white and he is a shy boy. He loves to play with his friends in the community.
